Advantages of dry cupping
cupping PLUS+ uses the "dry cupping" principle and avoids the use of fire (fire cupping) or incisions (wet cupping).
Fire cupping usually uses small burning cotton balls to create a vacuum inside the cups before applying it to the skin.
There are documented cases of burns caused by fire cupping.
Wet cupping is used a lot in the arabic world and requires a skin incision. The cup is then meant to suck out toxins or fragmented blood cells from the body.
While fire and dry cupping have some risks and disadvantages (burns, dark circles on the skin, infections,...) with dry cupping this is not the case.
Also in combination with pumps (like cupping PLUS+) it offers better possibilities to adjust the pressure. As dry cupping can be applied quickly and without
much efforts you can also apply cupping therapy on large areas of the body.
The cupping PLUS+ cupping unit
cupping PLUS+ uses a 3 way-valve pump system to allow perfect regulation of the applied pressure. The cups can be positioned and repositioned in seconds and
without any pain.
The materials used are allergen free and the cups are nearly unbreakable. The cups come in 3 different sizes to cover small, medium or large
areas of the skin.
To create higher pressure on the skin cupping+ comes with a patented tension clip system that allows you to create tension
on the applied cup using belts, strings or cords.
